Jacek holds a Master of Architecture and an Urban Planning degree from the Silesian University of Technology in Poland. Since 2008, he has been an esteemed member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, and further expanded his expertise by becoming a certified Passive House Designer in 2011 through the Passive House Academy in Dublin.
Utilizing a multifaceted design approach, Jacek has the ability to craft innovative and immersive projects. His collaborative approach, paired with strong leadership skills, ensures a successful transition of concepts from design proposals to planning applications and on-site executions. This not only accomplishes professional challenges but also fosters creativity and innovation within his team.
Throughout his career, Jacek has received numerous accolades, which mark his continuous dedication to pushing architectural boundaries. Notably, he played a significant role in the award-winning Trinity Student Accommodation project in Dublin (2018) and has been honoured with the esteemed Sebilla Prize (2012) by the Ministry of Culture, recognition for the Karolina Ostrava urban revitalization project, and received an honourable mention from the government office for an “affordable housing” project, among others.
Venturing beyond traditional boundaries, Jacek has become a pioneer in the realm of immersive spatial systems design, blending architecture with responsive interactive installations and multimedia elements. He is also the founder and lead designer of Unique AT LTD and its division, Unique Interactive, leading a series of museum and exhibition projects, including the Science Center Copernicus in Warsaw and Expo 2020 in Dubai. Finally, his venture, JACA Architecture + Design Studio, encapsulates his engagement in the design world since 1999, combining varied design work in one place.
