A Living Façade
The preliminary conceptual design of Donnybrook mixed-use development embodies a harmonious fusion of functionality and contemporary architectural philosophy. Designed to seamlessly integrate commercial and residential spaces, the development features over 1,000 m² of retail space on the ground floor, while 30 modern apartments occupy the upper three levels. This interplay of public and private domains ensures a dynamic and vibrant urban experience, enhancing both community interaction and residential quality.
Strategically positioned at the intersection of two bustling streets, the building is not only shaped by its function but also by its urban presence. The site’s unique placement inspired the design of a sweeping curved façade, creating a fluid architectural gesture that responds to the energy of the surrounding cityscape. This contemporary approach to form-making gives the impression that the building unfolds organically around the corner, capturing the movement and vibrancy of its environment while maintaining an elegant architectural language.
